Advert description
As a Master's graduate in Aerospace Engineering, I have been heavily relying on both, the knowledge I acquired throughout my degree, and my previous education to tackle numerical and analytical challenges in my field. I am eager to share the knowledge that I have and potentially provide a different/simpler perspective and revision strategies that would aid students in their academic journeys.
As a result of a diverse international education, including the successful completion of the IB Diploma Programme, a programme that is equivalent to A Levels, I have extensive experience with different educational systems and the formats of taught content. Over the course of my education, I have taken part in several projects which developed my current skill set. I was elected President of the High School Student Council and I also took part in the Sustainable Development Project (SDP) in Namibia teaching science classes to 7th grade students at a local school. Preparing the teaching materials and lesson plans had taught me to adapt to the requirements of the teaching program and focus on introducing new material while reviewing and reinforcing the previously covered topics, as we arrived in the middle of the school year.
With a physics and math-centred education background, and a deeper appreciation for the application of that knowledge through my engineering course, I believe I am in a unique position where I can offer a wealth of support to students that need some guidance or simply a few pointers along the way to their respective academic goals. Whether you are learning math in school or for an applied discipline, the material is the same, and the way it is delivered is what matters. I believe that everyone is capable of achieving excellence in math given the right approach.
