Advert description
Understanding that Mathematics can be a source of stress for many, I foster a warm and approachable atmosphere in my classes, striving to cultivate a relationship beyond the traditional student-teacher dynamic. My expertise spans a wide age range, from 7-year-olds in primary school to 19-year-olds embarking on their first year of university. During my lessons, I strike a balance between a structured approach, emphasizing the importance of understanding, and creating a safe space that encourages questions—a vital tool for me to pinpoint areas requiring reinforcement.
For long-term students, my tutoring method involves meticulously guiding them through the entire school curriculum, chapter by chapter. Following each chapter review, I allocate the latter half of the lesson to rigorous practice, as I firmly believe this is where students truly solidify their understanding and identify any knowledge gaps. I also encourage students to complete homework assignments if it aligns with their parents' preferences, ensuring consistent practice between classes and enabling me to assess their grasp of the subject matter. My goal is to cover the entire curriculum within the school year, even surpassing the teacher's pace, allowing for a month of comprehensive question practice to reinforce their knowledge and establish a robust foundation for the year ahead.
For short-term students, I adopt a similar approach, addressing specific chapters where students may require additional support. Throughout, I maintain my unwavering belief that 'practice is key' when it comes to mastering Mathematics.
