Mathematics tutor providing lessons to GCSE and A-level students

I am a first-class honours mechanical engineering graduate from University College London (UCL), actively seeking to help young people at GCSE and A-level become more confident in maths. I achieved a grade 9 in maths at GCSE and an A* in both maths and further maths at A-level. I also have experience working on a range of engineering projects, from designing aircraft engine impellers to biomedical research apparatus.

General lesson structure:
1. Getting to know each other: what are your future plans?, what grades do you want to achieve?, what topics do you struggle with the most?, how often do you practice maths?
2. Going through practice questions together. Looking at different ways to solve a problem.
3. Give you the opportunity to bring any questions you are finding difficult to solve.
