Mathematics tutor providing lessons for GCSE and A Level Maths

Hello! My name is Thekla and I am a postgraduate student of Mathematics. I have been a tutor for the past five months. Ever since I remember myself, I always loved mathematics. I believe that mathematics mainly focuses on logic. Once you understand the reason behind a calculation or why a computation leads to the next step, then you understand the logic of mathematics. I chose to study the specific course because I like the fact that everything you learn makes sense when you use it to solve problems. Also, I enjoy the excitement you get once you understand the theorem you are being taught or when you conclude to a solution of a complex problem. Mathematics to me is like a piece of art, where you start from starch and step by step, using several calculations and analyzing shapes and patterns, you get a beautiful result. Understanding has no termination to its complexity, and mathematics looks for the highest morals of understanding by ordering consistency in its foundations and in its evolution. My passion is teaching mathematics to others and try to make them as passionate for mathematics as I am. I am a detailed-oriented self-starter, an exceptional team member who is ready to share ideas as well as collaborate with others for the best possible result. I want to be able to create a teaching environment where students are able to think for themselves, feel confident enough to ask questions, and in general take intellectual risks.
