Based off my experience of informally teaching friends who shared the subject before our exam periods, I have found use in building a useful approach to my teaching sessions. I will start by outlining the content and aims of the session, and then begin explaining key ideas and concepts with intervals asking receptive questions to the tutee to ensure they are engaging with and understanding the content. After this, I will provide exam questions and examples to help translate the learnt content into actual skills that will prepare them for an exam. At the end of the session, I will review the content with my tutee and ask for feedback for areas that they would like me to cater towards for the next session.
