Advert description
I have significant tutoring experience. I have previously tutored students in A-Level English, with a particular focus on poetry and Shakespeare. I generated business through word of mouth, and provided tailored lessons for each student. Tutoring in this subject has meant that I have experience guiding students with essay-writing subjects, including structuring techniques and analysis. This has meant that I would be well-suited to tutoring law.
Graduating with a Jurisprudence degree from the University of Oxford, I am familiar with the various legal subjects and have developed a keen analytical ability. I would be able to help students understand legal concepts and principles across legal areas, whilst also teaching analytical techniques. I would assist students with writing their own essays, as well as providing sample essays for comparison. I can tailor each session to the particular needs of the student.
When tutoring, organisational ability and time-management skills are crucial. I am effective and organised, having balanced my undergraduate degree with committee roles in various law societies. When I was tutoring students, I prepared materials and a lesson plan in advance of each session to suit the student. At the end of each session, I would review what has been learnt, and what to tackle next moving forward.
