I am a freelance Art tutor since 2018, currently working for a private in London

My specialist subject is fine art. As a professional artist and alumni (BA Fine Art Central St Martins London), I have in-depth knowledge and understanding of contemporary art. My experience in tutoring and training students equips me with a valuable view of the ever-changing English curriculum. I also know the difficulties involved in studying art and what it takes to achieve a higher grade.
My approach is pragmatic, flexible and enthusiastic. I am a good listener and assess the student’s needs and goals individually to offer an enjoyable art session through visual exploration and interaction.
I provide thorough preparation and input, clear guidance and motivation for the student to enjoy exploring and developing his/her ideas to the fullest. I like sharing my own experiences and collaborating actively with the student’s work in progress. I believe that building a supportive and trustful relationship also helps the student build self-confidence not only to become an independent learner but also to be proud of his creations. Together, through discussion and experimentation, I encourage the student to refine his/her ideas to demonstrate critical understanding and to present personal and meaningful responses to his/her art projects.
