Japanese language tutor. Experience teaching all levels and all ages

I have a degree in Japanese language and history from The University of Manchester, and am a fluent Japanese speaker. After graduating I spent 5 years in Tokyo teaching high school students English and Science at Tachikawa Kokusai. That is to say, I know first hand the struggle of learning such a different language, but also how rewarding it can be, and the opportunities it can give you!

I currently work as an LQA games tester, where I assist in the Japanese to English translation process for a wide variety of AAA developers. If you're into Japanese pop culture or history, or anything in between, we'll have a lot to talk about!

I can tailor my lessons to whatever approach suits you best, a structured textbook style, going through personalised content to match your interests, or just friendly conversations to give you the opportunity to flex/utilise your Japanese language skills.
