Japanese Language Tutor. Teach Beginner→Advanced + Business Japanese

Advert description
I have BA in Japanese Linguistics and more than 6 years of experience teaching Japanese. I lived in Japan for 1.5 years attending a uni and doing research, and spent 3 years working at a Japanese workplace.

My teaching style is practical, blending communicative teaching with grammar and vocabulary drills customized to my students' needs. I focus on building active skills, like writing and speaking, and offer guidance in Japanese phonetics to help you achieve a native-like accent if that's your goal.

I offer classes at all levels, from Beginner to Advanced, including options for Business Japanese and Academic Japanese. Learning should be engaging and straightforward, so I break down complex ideas and provide extra resources for independent study to keep your motivation.

My classes are a safe space for LGBTQI+ individuals, and I have experience teaching students of diverse backgrounds.

Evgenii-sensei helped me prepare for the JLPT N2 test which I successfully passed this year. But the lessons were not only about that, as my goal was eventually to become able to use Japanese in a work-related context (as I needed it for my career). We spent much time working on keigo, writing emails, etc., and this all helped me better understand the logic behind the Japanese etiquette. We had lots of speaking and writing tasks, which was all extremely useful. I never had problem with staying motivated, simply because it's inspiring to be studying with someone like Evgenii
