Italian Native Teacher - Immersive Approach - PhD in Linguistics

Advert description
Ciao a tutti!
Hello everyone!

Are you looking for courses that make a real difference?

My name is Fiammetta, I'm from Italy, and after studying Linguistics and Cognitive Processes I propose Italian language courses.

Here's a brief outline of my career:
- A degree in Modern Literature with a specialisation in Linguistic Sciences
- Masters 1 & 2 in Linguistics and Cognitive Processes
- PhD in Linguistics (Phonology) - ongoing

Today :
- I have been working as a teacher of Italian to foreigners for over 5 years.
- I am involved in research projects on the dialectology and historical evolution of Romance languages.

My teaching methods:

Convinced that total immersion and practice are the keys to learning a language, I structure my lessons in three parts, combined in a variety of ways.

1) Grammar - We cover grammar and vocabulary points using various resources such as :
- the "Nuovo Espresso" textbook (Alma Edizioni), adapted to your level (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2).
- interactive slide shows and shared whiteboards to explain morphological/syntactic structures,
- lexical" PDF files to reinforce vocabulary.

2) Listening/Analysis - Listening exercises are set up on newly covered concepts using audio and video files that I share with you.

3) Conversation - A large part of the course is devoted to oral conversation, with practice of the new structures so that they integrate naturally.

There is also plenty of homework if the student wishes: I offer progressive learning tasks in the form of PDFs, videos or audio files. I also recommend podcasts or series to watch for complete immersion.
