Italian native speaker teacher (grammary, conversation, literature)

My name is Elena Odone, I'm italian and I have been teaching Italian and Latin for over 10 years, in
secondary and high schools, private and public. I have a Master's degree in Modern Literature and
a Bachelor's degree in Foreign Languages and Literature (English and French), both with top marks.
I obtained my high school diploma at the "Liceo Classico", which focused mainly on the study of
humanities and classical languages, such as Latin and Ancient Greek. I have taught Italian -
literature and grammar-, Latin, History, Geography, but also English and French at school and in
private facilities, and Italian to foreign students. In addition, I have obtained CEDILS certification for
teaching Italian as a L2, a second language, and have held numerous refresher courses. I will send
you my detailed CV with all my experiences. I would now like to gain experience abroad, I
particularly love the UK, I regularly make (apart from during the pandemic!) 1 or 2 trips a year to
my beloved London; I am an enthusiastic person, I love teaching my language and culture.
I care a lot about the education of students, I want to be for them not only a teacher but also a
reference point outside of school hours. I would like, for example, to organize some "Italian party"
in the afternoon, where my students and I can cook Italian dishes, sing together, read books
appropriate to their level of preparation or, still, organize meetings via Meet or Zoom with my
Italian friends with different accent, because to teach a foreign language you need to listen to
regional accents different from mine. I adore travelling, and I would have no problem moving. I am
not married and have no children, so I would have no problem doing that. I am available to carry
out all the procedures to be able to teach in the UK, in the shortest possible time. I have a passport
and driving license, and I am immediately available.
