I experienced both one-to-one sessions (when I taught in a private school) and group sessions (at Lancaster University). The key for me is to combine learning Italian with having fun - I do not approach the learning process by distinguishing each linguistical sector, such as grammar, phonetics etc. I rather have a holistic approach which allows me and my students to explore diverse areas concerning the Italian language. No time for boredom!
