Hi there! My name is Cintia, an Argentinian woman who once dreamt of travelling around the world.
My passion is to get to know different cultures, try their food and walk their hiking routes. I love languages and I try to speak the best I can English, Portuguese and German (or my version of German at least! hahaha). Thanks to this background, I know how frustrating and sometimes embarrassing learning languages can be. By the way, my mother tongue is Spanish -just in case you were wondering what we speak in Argentina ;)

I've been teaching English and Spanish as foreign languages for more than 5 years. What I like most is to see how my students improve little by little. It's somehow like watching something very special grow. It fulfills me with a sense of achievement I've never experienced with any other job before. I find teaching very rewarding.

I tend to focus my lessons on speaking as I strongly believe we learn by listening to others and trying to express our ideas. That being said, I also think certain structure is necessary when it comes to learning languages, so what I usually do is to follow a book. That way, it's easier to scaffold the learning process and give the students the confidence and background needed to handle complexer structures. To me is key to keep the language as real as possible, so I usually use extra material such as songs, articles and videos.
