My approach to teaching is centred around creating a personalised and effective learning experience tailored to each student’s unique needs.

Before each lesson, I engage with students to understand the specific topics they would like me to cover ensuring that each lesson is focused and aligned with their learning objectives. I would focus on explaining the difficult topic thoroughly, answering any questions my student has and targeting on which concept they find most challenging. Once the student demonstrates confidence in their understanding, we will work through relevant exam questions to develop problem-solving skills. At the end of each lesson, we will summarise the key learning points to reinforce understanding. I also incorporate retrieval practice at the start of each session, revisiting prior material to strengthen retention.

My lessons are typically one hour in length, designed for A-Level students who are looking to strengthen their understanding of Biology and Chemistry. My ultimate goal for my students is to build their confidence, foster a positive learning environment, and help them achieve their academic goals.
