I'd begin with an assessment to understand the student's strengths, challenges and specific needs then use that to create individualised learning plans, utilise multi-sensory tools and assistive technology, implement structured and consistent routines, encourage positive reinforcement and motivation, foster self-advocacy and independence, collaborate with families and other professionals, adapt teaching styles and adjust to feedback as well as keeping up to date myself with my own training and learning!
