Highly experienced primary school teacher with expertise in all subjects and age groups.

I have taught all age groups in the primary sector and had the privilege to work with many wonderful colleagues from whom I have learnt so much. I've had the opportunity to work with children with varying needs and from different social backgrounds, all of which have shaped my teaching style and taught me how to tailor it to meet the needs of the individual pupils in my care. I am also lucky enough to have had several types of teaching jobs including class teacher, job sharing, setting up and running a new school library, mentoring student teachers, supply work, PPA & NQT cover and being a support teacher for Maths and Literacy (mainly in Year 6 in preparation for SATs) to accelerate learning. Outside of school, I have tutored children, many of whom were preparing for 11+ exams. The last few years of teaching were spent supporting groups of Year 6 children to accelerate their learning in Maths and English in preparation for SATs tests,
