Highly Experienced A-Level Chemistry & GCSE Science Teacher & Examiner offering Group and 1-2-1 Tuition

I studied at Imperial College London where I completed a Masters Degree in Chemistry. With over 6 years of tutoring experience, I have tutored students from a variety of exam boards and specifications (AQA, Edexcel, OCR-A and OCR-B). At A-Level, I have supported students in achieving their future ambitions, many of which have gone onto studying medicine or achieving their University offers.

I have been a specialist examiner with over 8 years of experience with OCR marking a range of Chemistry AS and A-Level exam papers.
For 1-2-1 tuition, my approach is tailored to the individual which is determined through an initial telephone consultation and the first lesson, where I will use some questioning and assessment to ascertain working level. In group tuition, my lessons can be tailored towards the group of students in the lesson; this information can be determined also through the initial telephone consultation.
As an experienced teacher, I can draw upon my pedagogical approaches to ensure that any tutoring sessions are structured effectively and facilitate maximum progress. As an experienced specialist examiner, I can advise students exactly what examiners are looking for and help them improve their exam technique

In addition to well-structured tutoring sessions, I will provide all resources and give advice on how to improve. I have access to an extensive range of resources including PowerPoint presentations, past paper question booklets/sheets and revision booklets that I share with each student.

My fees start at £20-25/hr for group tuition or £60-65/hr for bespoke 1-2-1 tuition.
