I have Qualified teacher status. I have taught in primary , secondary , special needs and in international schools. I have seen how the impact of outstanding quality tutoring has made a difference in learner' s lives and life -chances. I have marked National and International (Ks 2 ) English papers for over 10 years. My passion for teaching and learning and for driving learner outcomes . I have leadership experience as head of year-group, Assistant - head, Deputy head in inner and outer London primary schools. I have taught Maths upto GsCE level since 2020 online and face to face . I am experienced in the use of online teaching platforms like Zoom , Ms Teams and Google classroom . I have created online resources to support online and face to face teaching . My strength isin being able to identify gaps in learning and intervening appropiately in order that barriers to learning are overcome . My outstanding teacher practices were emphasised by OFsted and borough inp[ectuon teams especially in meeting individual educatiuonal needs. 100 % of learners with special educational needs achieved more than the expected progress. Over the pat 32 years of teaching I am able to draw upon my vast training , knowledge and skills to ensure every learner makes significant progress within lessons and over time . I believe that my outstanding planning and Assessment of teaching and learning , together with my passionate drive for teaching and learning places me in a great position to teach learners with diverse learning needs. As a musician and as a qulaified music teacher , have lead learners to successfully complete Royal College and Trinity College examinations (piano and guitar). I believe that teaching and learning i much more than just about knowledge and skill and values. Good ,healthy and strong relationships is the bedrock to great teachibg and learning .
