I have managed, motivated, mentored and coached scientists, engineers and technologists for much of my career. I want to teach STEM 'A' level students & graduates what really matters to businesses; things they are not taught in school or University. For example: - how to think independently; - how to think critically; - how to design experiments for industrial R&D; - how to write concise reports; - how to prepare risk registers; - how to manage and mitigate project risks; - how to create and develop innovative ideas; - how to think about commercial opportunities; - how to stay focused on the 'end goal'.
