Hi I'm Nix! I have a Bachelor's degree in Popular Music Performance and over 10 years of teaching experience. My specialty is contemporary electric and acoustic guitar and over the years I have helped many students start their music journey, or take their playing to the next level.

In the past I have worked for Rockschool, writing and running some of their summer guitar camps. I have also helped numerous students successfully pass their ARSM/Rockschool grade exams, as well as helped some other students prepare for their intake exams at Berklee College Of Music (Valencia/Boston) and Musicians Institute (Los Angeles).

My lessons take a student led approach with the aim using your existing music tastes and using them to tie in with music theory, technique and expanding your music taste. I believe learning music should be a fun, curious and explorative experience that helps you build your confidence and your skill on the instrument. Whether you just want to be able to play along with your favourite pop songs, or become the next guitar-hero, I can help you achieve your goals!
