I give private lessons tailored to your needs.

I have approximately 20 years experience of working in Primary Schools in various roles. I have worked in the Scottish curriculum, English curriculum and well as for Service Children’s Education abroad. I am a Level 4 fully qualified Teaching Assistant who has gained the ‘Higher Level Teaching Assistant’ status. I have extensive experience in SEN as well as qualifications in Speech and Language. I am an excellent communicator who is extremely organised. I build up rapport very quickly with the children and adults I work with. Safeguarding is always my top priority and everyone can be assured that I will always put the students best interests as top priority. I believe that students should always feel comfortable and happy throughout the lessons as this is where they will get the most out of the time. I will strive to alleviate any anxieties they may have. Students with SEN are more than welcome. I currently work with a child who has ADHD, a boy who is registered blind and a boy who is deaf.

I aim for my lessons to be fun, dynamic and I will source and implement all resources needed. Once levels have been established, I will provide targets for us to work towards together. There may even be homework if necessary ??
