I do not really prefer one teaching method, or one way of interacting with students in the classroom environment. Because in my opinion each class is different. But what I work on it while teaching is empowering my students. I try my best to teach them to be responsible and I let them fail so they can learn and grow. So i simply try my best with each student, that's the definition of my teaching style. It may means one thing in one lesson, and a completely different one in another. I help students to think critically and to realise that they are able to find their own solutions. Students don't have to only wait and listen to me explaining the lesson, on the contrary they must actively participate with me to reach the goal of the lesson. So I try as much as I can to encourage pupils to become actively involved in the process of learning. I insist in developing analytical skills to let students be more creative. One area I particular thrive in as a math teacher is when I need to explain difficult and challenging mathematical concepts to students and pupils who have historically struggled to grasp what is required. In situations such as these, I am patient, I am reassuring and I use simple, easy to understand methodologies to teach the subject in question. Also I let them explore math, and discover principles instead of being told what they are. Finally, I try my best to make math fun as much as I can.
