I give private English lessons online to help teens and adults of any age improve reading comprehension and written communication skills.

I am a recently retired high school English teacher missing my students. I teach with patience and compassion with strategies and materials that best meet the needs of the student. Over my thirty years of teaching, I have helped a wide range of students improve their reading and writing: from those who read far below grade level through those accepted to ivy league colleges. I have also prepared students to succeed on English College Board exams, including Literature and Language and Composition, the ACT, and the SAT.
