I am a postgraduate and a trained teacher with seven years of teaching experience on different platforms. I worked as a biology teacher from grades 9 to 12.
I believe that a teacher is not a person with huge knowledge a good teacher must have the quality to deliver the content effectively, a good teacher teaches according to a student's need and must have great patience to make the student understand the content adequately.
Here is an example-
There was a very tight competition between DNA and RNA for the title of genetic material. RNA being the older athlete was the strong contender but the DNA was new so it knew all the skills of a winner. And finally, the race was won by DNA, and hence it got the title of genetic material while RNA satisfied itself by becoming the genetic material of few viruses.
Now being a critic let's analyze why DNA won and RNA lost -
1) DNA is both more resilient and more easily repaired than RNA.
2)DNA serves as a more stable carrier of the genetic information that is essential to survival and reproduction.
3)DNA's info is better protected than RNA. Double strands allow double-checking. However, single-stranded RNA is rather unstable and is easily damaged by enzymes.
What was the main reason behind RNA to show all the above-mentioned laggings? Well, it was the presence of the hydroxyl group on the 2' carbon of the ribose and its absence on the 2' carbon of the deoxyribose. That extra hydroxyl group in RNA makes it more reactive and less stable.
I believe that compact, meaningful, and easy-to-understand content helps the reader to achieve its goal. The educator is not always available but powerful content always remains with the reader.
