GCSE/IGCSE and AL/IAL Psychology Tutor

I am a qualified teacher with QTS status and hold a degree in Psychology with a specialization in Communication and Education. My professional journey in London has included working as a Special Educational Needs (SEN) teacher, a role that I find both challenging and rewarding. Through my experience with SEN students, I've gained a profound understanding of the diverse needs of learners. It has shown me the myriad possibilities in teaching and reinforced my belief that everyone is capable of learning, no matter how daunting it may seem. Currently, I am serving as an A level Psychology Teacher at an online school, guiding students to reach their maximum potential. My expertise extends to International A levels in the Edexcel Board, as well as A levels in both Edexcel and AQA boards.
Psychology, being the study of human behavior and the surrounding world, naturally lends itself to real-life applications. I emphasize this connection to provide students with a deeper appreciation and comprehension of the subject matter.

In terms of exam preparation, I not only concentrate on content understanding but also on optimizing exam performance. I guide students through effective exam strategies, teaching them tricks to approach questions and score the maximum marks. Through rigorous practice sessions, we tackle exam-style questions, carefully evaluate responses, and iteratively refine answers based on constructive feedback.

The goal is to cultivate a level of proficiency where responding to exam questions becomes second nature for students. By consistently practicing, receiving feedback, and refining their approach, students not only develop a strong theoretical foundation but also the strategic skills necessary for success in psychology examinations.
