Everything was going according to plan and then this pandemic happened and a regular teacher like me was sitting at home thinking about how to get in touch with students again. Online teaching was the only method allowed during the pandemic. I was missing playing with students in the school and the other extra-curricular activities. But somehow, I started teaching online and then the experience I acquired during last 3 years transformed me in a world class teacher. I currently have students in more than 10 countries. The countries from where my students belong to are US, Canada, UK, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Ireland, Pakistan, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Austria, Norway, Australia, New Zealand, Sweden and Singapore.
Mathematics and Computer Science were the main fields where I excelled and have gone beyond the parents' expectations in delivering the lessons to my students. It happened just because of my method of imparting knowledge to students that one of my students from UK insisted on studying Physics from me. Though I have the degree of Geophysics but never took interest in teaching Physics to my students because I was already getting too many students of mathematics and computer science. Physics lesson I delivered, and my student got an A in his GCSE last year. Since then, I have become a regular teacher for Physics too. I realized that the problems solving in physics is way better understood by a teacher with the qualifications of Mathematics and Computer Science.
I possess four degrees of Education, Mathematics, Computer Science and Geophysics and have an exerience of more than a decade. I emerged as a trainer of award-winning students of several Mathematical Olympiads and Early Age Programming competitions. By keeping things simple, interesting and working on students’ weaknesses to make them stronger has proved in getting parents satisfied and valuable feedback.
Empath, patience, engagement, active listening, adaptability, flexibility, creativity and life long learning are the skills acquired during a career spanning more than 10 years. Career counselling that I did, has proved to be more valuable for students than ever in the era of internet and rapidly changing technology advancements. I believe if a student gets a good teacher from the age of 12-14 who can guide him for his dream career. He can achieve his dreams from his late teens..
