Hi! My name is Emily. I am a patient and friendly person, who is really passionate about teaching and learning from others! I hold a first-class bachelor's degree (LLB) and a Masters degree (LLM) for which I was awarded a Distinction, from the London School of Economics. Studying law at undergraduate and postgraduate level has given me a keen eye for detail and a strong analytical mind. Prior to university, I did the International Baccalaureate programme (earning 42/45 points) in high school, so I am able to offer tutoring for IB subjects such as the Extended Essay, TOK, and English Literature Higher Level. My relevant past experience includes having worked in numerous roles where I teach and mentor a wide range of people (adults, children, individuals with special needs and learning disabilities), such as through peer mentoring schemes at university, and through volunteering as a teaching assistant at a primary school.
