Advert description
Are you finding it is very difficult to learn maths? Do you think your school maths teacher, textbook and other learning materials you can find in the market cannot help you to boost up your exam results, ability, confidence and interest? Are you hoping to find a way to learn maths and take your maths exam in a more effective, comfortable, and efficient way? Do you believe you can eventually learn, and even master maths in your life? I, Adrian Chan, may help you.
I completed all of my formal studies in Hong Kong. I obtained a very good exam results at maths in all levels of studies. The maths exams in Asia are one of the most challenging, tricky and difficult in the world, and I also learned lots of fundamental concepts and useful thinking skills I obtained a bachelor degree in mechanical engineering in Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and a professional teaching training from Chinese University of Hong Kong, which both universities rank as the highest 100th in the world. After my graduation, I have been a full time maths and further maths tutor from aged 6 to 18 in some famous tuition school groups in Hong Kong for over 10 years. I was also a after school maths tutor in an independent school in Barking, London for a year.
In the UK, I successfully helped most of the early public exam takers to obtain A*. In both Hong Kong and the UK, I also found my students could have a better confidence, interest, learning abilities and attitudes besides exam results. No matter in the UK and in Hong Kong, I have met a great variety of background of students from the most outstanding to academically inadequate schools, from highly academically achieved students who can take their GCSE in the age of 11 or 12 to incapable in even basic arithmetic in a short time of public examinations, from highly demanded students who revised hard day by day, to low motivated students who didn't pay any effort even before examinations. Therefore, challenging students are not really challenging for me.
Being a tutor is not only someone who spoonfill knowledge, but someone who can inspire the students. Therefore, I regard my students and parents as a long-term partner. Exam results are important indeed. Building a better mindset, learning attitude, logical and critical thinking can even help the lives of our students more. It is my honour to influence them lifelong.
