Advert description
Looking for a kind, patient, non-judgemental teacher who will work at your/your child’s pace? Look no further! I am a recent University of Oxford graduate, so I am very sympathetic to the daunting nature of being a student! I use this to instead create a warm, welcoming environment for all wishing to learn and grow (and have fun!) as musicians. I believe we learn at our best when we are relaxed and worry-free, so my lessons are rather holistic, making sure your mental health is prioritised during learning.
I have been a peripatetic music teacher for five years, starting out as a student-teacher for a music school when I was 17-years-old. I started after I received my Diploma (DipABRSM) in Clarinet performance. I attended the Junior Department of Guildhall School of Music and Drama for five years, where I studied clarinet and saxophone, playing in their Symphony Orchestra and Big Band. I graduated from the University of Oxford, having studied Music. In my spare time, I am a singer-songwriter with my own indie-rock band!
