friendly and focussed GCSE Biology Tutor

I am a fifth year medical student studying at Imperial College London and I am an enthusiastic teacher! With my medical background I would be comfortable teaching biology and chemistry to GCSE level. I like to focus mainly on exam preparation and use of questions and testing as a constructive method of learning and achieving high grades. Having achieved 10A*s at GCSEs I am accomplished in helping students with GCSE preparation. I would carry out my lessons in two halves using the first to teach concepts and allow the student to attain a solid understanding of the topic and then use the second half of the lesson to practise past paper questions which I have personally found to be the most effective method of learning. I am also able to inform students planning to go onto study medicine information and about the application process and interview stage if this is something they might require.
