I achieved a grade 7 for English language and grade 8 for English literature for my GCSEs which are both equivalent to A’s. I find English very easy to teach to others and enjoy teaching it. I’ve tutored my cousin from when he was in year 5 till year six and he got really good English grades for his SATS. This year I helped my sister with her English GCSEs and she achieved a grade 6 and 7. My lessons are organised in a way where I will teach the students all the content and what they need to know for the topic we are learning and then I will provide them with booklets and work books to work on. They will receive homework every week and when I next see them again we will go over their answers and I will help them with any errors in their homework and provide them a similar homework task to see if they have understood and improved. At the end of every topic I will test the student to see if they are making any progress and if they pass the test we will move onto the next topic.
