I am a first year student studying Mathematics at the University of Durham. I have experience tutoring a range of year groups, from students in Year 5 up to Year 13, where my lessons are tailored to the relative level and needs of my students.

When teaching a subject, I explain the topic in a more in depth but effective way so my student can get an understanding about why they have to learn it. Especially for maths, I prefer to write out my derivations and working on a blank workbook such as OneNote, rather than using a PowerPoint. I then tend to go over practice questions whilst ensuring my student/ students are understanding how the process works.
