Teaching is an passion of mine, something I have been great at all my life. The way I would teach these student is familiarise them with content by using techniques such as active recall and visualise the topics for them so they can remember. From there I shall frequently test these students so they get in the exam habit and they can evaluate from their mistakes. I believe repetition is the best way to teach these young students.
