Advert description
I am a qualified primary school teacher (QTS) with a PGCE and a TEFL certification, specialising in phonics, reading, and English for children aged 5-10. I also hold a degree in International Law, which has strengthened my analytical and communication skills—key qualities I bring into my teaching.
Teaching has always been my passion, but what truly drives me is the one-on-one connection I build with students. Tutoring allows me to tailor lessons to individual needs, witness progress first-hand, and build confidence in a way that isn’t always possible in a large classroom setting.
With over five years of experience in education, I have worked across KS1 and KS2 and have helped Year 6 students prepare for their SATs. I use a structured, interactive approach, incorporating interactive whiteboard lessons, engaging activities, and personalised learning plans to make learning enjoyable and effective.
Most importantly, I value the relationships I build with students. Understanding their strengths, challenges, and motivations allows me to create lessons that are impactful and confidence-boosting. Whether supporting a struggling learner or extending a high-achieving student, I am committed to helping every child succeed.
