My task is to create an atmosphere and presentation of material that will best satisfy the needs of each student: • Tolerance, respect and friendliness between all students and teacher • Excellent knowledge of the material and skills by the teacher • A hands on approach (One On One) when dealing with the practical side of the educational process. • Demonstration and practical testing •On completion of course a survey is completed by each student to gather Feedback of course- extremely valuable information. Course Duration is approximately 60 hours (16hours online theory and 44 hours practical training on mannequins and models). DREAM Before the course begins, I get to know each student and identify their needs, expectations and concerns. The first lesson, I make sure to talk about myself and introduce all the students to each other “breaking the ice.” I inspire by sharing my knowledge and experience, which will give the opportunity to find “the most beautiful profession in the World.” ACHIEVEMENT OF SUCCESS Practical classes begin with students understanding the importance and insight of the structure of the hair combined with the dying process and the effects and results it has on different hair. Once the theory has been understood, students begin the practical process of dyeing on mannequins provided until this process has been mastered. The final stage of the course hair models are bought for students to carry out ‘Live’ training. It is in this course that I apply cognitive learning principles. Education is constantly changing. New technologies, pandemic, wars, etc. require a quick response for both teachers and students. Where I feel the problem lies with certain educational courses or trades is that they are stretched over a 3-4year period where a great potion of that time is spent going through an ‘Apprentiship’ to achieve your end goal. Therefore, specialists (including myself) are developing effective courses/ programs with a shorter duration. Often, technology and market needs for specialists outpace the ability to train graduates. In my opinion, a modern teacher will need to constantly strive to stay in touch with all modern technologies in order to communicate successfully with students. Teachers must have the confidence and knowledge of software technology in order to use new learning platforms, create content for course with games, videos, download information and transfer it through various resources maintaining an interest in learning fo
