Experienced Secondary Science Tutor of 7 years teaching all 3 sciences

I have been a science teacher for 7 years and am currently a head of department in London. I am expert across all 3 science disciplines, with a specialism in Biology. I have in depth knowledge of the curriculum and the exam specification and am able to break down complex topics into easy understandable chunks. I believe students should study smarter not harder and try to be as straight to the point as possible, with an emphasis on deliberate practice to acquire and perfect knowledge. I have worked with students of all abilities and age ranges, turning round students who have been written of by their teachers to achieving high grades.
