Qualified KS2 Primary School Teacher (including SATS & 11+ preparation)

I am qualified Primary School Teacher that specializes in KS2, including three years experience in year 6. I can can help your child prepare for SATS but I can also aid students who are in younger year groups with their Maths, English and Reading.

I am a very patient and kind individual who likes to nurture and challenge children. I will build your child's confidence while having fun along the way!

I enjoy teaching all the subjects, and as a teacher, I understand the importance of support. I have a plethora of resources and methods to help your child understand the content and not feel overwhelmed.

In math, I can support children with their number knowledge and fluency, but I also have the capacity and expertise to stretch your child's mathematical thinking and reasoning skills - a key part of SATS.

Having taught in year 6, I have a thorough understanding of the Writing Standards and grammatical intricacies that they are expected to know by the end of primary school. I can support children with the very basics of sentence structure, help a child reach the Expected Standard for their year group or help them take the next step to Greater Depth level.

I passed the 11+ as a child, so I can also assist in preparing your child for that exam if required. However, it has been many years so I would need to brush up on the content!
