I like to make my lessons enjoyable and fun. When we first meet I will ask you what styles you enjoy playing and also what are your goals with the instrument. Either if you are a total beginner or a more experienced player we will explore technique, practice, reading, playing by ear and ensemble playing . Because of my experience I am quite flexible and able to tailor lessons to each student's needs and preferences. I am comfortable teaching students all ages and levels.
I am passionated about music and teaching. I enjoy seeing my students progress in their instrument and achieve their goals. I am always researching new materials and approaches for teaching my instruments. I have been teaching for over 20 years in various contexts. Primary and Secondary Schools as well as Privately and at Adult Education Centres .
