I am an experienced middle grades science teacher and curriculum writer/developer of on-line high school biology lessons.

Through scaffolded questions at the appropriate level, I am able to engage students in onerous content that leads them to a deep level of understanding as well as the ability to apply what they have learned to the real world. In addition to being a classroom teacher I also held other positions within my district including peer evaluator, science coach, curriculum writer, and content trainer. I never back down from a challenge and love creating new paths for learning opportunities. Because of my diverse experiences, I am able to engage and meet the needs of a variety students based on their knowledge level, learning styles, exceptionalities, and background.
