Advert description
With a Bachelor's and a Master's in English, I'm professionally and rigorously trained in analyzing and critiquing literary texts. I've in-depth knowledge of literary history, movements, concepts, philosophies, and theory. I have two years of experience teaching GCSE and A-level students and guiding bachelor's students in academic papers and assignments.
My teaching approach focuses on simplifying complex literary texts and theories while developing students' critical thinking skills to learn to interpret texts independently. My interest in and knowledge of popular culture help me to contemporize literary texts, making them relevant to contemporary issues or broader human conditions, which students find relatable and show greater engagement and participation, developing their interpretational skills.
I believe in humanistic education; I believe empathy is essential for guiding students efficiently along with knowledge. My passion for humanistic education and empathic way of life facilitates interaction and creates a safe classroom environment, leading to the students' self-motivation. I try to build a friendly relationship with my students, understanding their individual needs, issues, and interests.
Through consistent hard work and my guidance, I've seen students improve their grades while learning the skills to interpret texts independently. I aim to inspire meaningful growth, so students gain confidence in their abilities and foster a deeper understanding of literature.
I look forward to guiding students toward success in their grades and deepening their understanding of literature as they grow into skilled readers and thinkers.
