During my lessons I have been able assess learning to monitor progress of pupils and this has been beneficial in informing me of how to change and adapt my teaching pedagogies e.g. talk partners, using actions, the interactive whiteboard and ICT to meet the needs of different children within my class as well as which children need to be extended or need information consolidated. I am therefore able to successfully plan for the progression of each child so that they can reach their full potential. It is of extreme importance to get to know your children individually, so that you can make lessons engaging and exciting for them as this allows you to use a child - led approach to enable children to get the best out of their learning experience.
