Advert description
I have a master’s degree in psychology and am currently undertaking a masters in organisational psychology at City, University of London. Throughout my study, I have had the opportunity to work with students of all ages, backgrounds and learning abilities. Throughout these roles I developed an exceptional ability to collaboratively work with students in progressing their learning, skills and understanding of course work and core learning outcomes. I understand the need to customise lesson plans and structure in order to engage each individuals learning ability and style.
I have previous experience in tutoring primary and secondary students across varying ability levels and stages. I have tutored in English, including essay writing and exam technique as well as maths and numeracy at primary and early secondary level. Additionally, I have tutored undergraduate students in foundation psychology and critical writing skills. My tutoring experience extends outside mainstream into 1:1 tutoring with SEND students, as well as various behavioural and learning requirements (ADHD).
I have exceptional written and communication skills. I received a high distinction for my English and English literature subjects in my bachelor’s degree. My writing skills and strong ability to articulate myself has ensured I have been able to adapt and excel in a variety of differing educational settings and working environments. I received an overall 70% + grade classification for both my psychology and counselling psychology master’s degrees.
I am a reliable, personable, and adaptable individual with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
