English and History tutor providing tutorials for GCSE and Alevel pupils

I am a recently gradutaed 18 year old student, taking a gap year before reading History and American Studies at the University of Manchester. In my last two years at school I studied History, English Literature and Sociology, recieving 3 A* s in my A levels. Importantly, I have thoroughly enjoyed connecting my acadmeic studies with my personal interests, particulalry in history and journslistc writing. In my summers I have worked with local magazines to produce articles on local events, as well as volunteered for the national archives. Similarly, I was lucky enough to be editor of my school magazine, both heading and writing peices with a patiuar focus on current affairs. From each of these, I have gained an accute understidng for communication and team work, qualties I believe are central to tutoring and understanding the best ways to aid each student differently in academic progress.
