Having previously worked in Kumon, I believe the best way to learn a concept is through practice. I engage students in discussions and critical thinking which allows them to gain a deeper understanding to topics. I provide regular feedback and use formative tests to set the pace for my lessons. During sixth form I also volunteered as a tutor in my secondary school which taught me how to plan my own lessons and cater to different learning styles. My lessons are two hours long and are aimed for students in year 10 and 11 preparing for their GCSE exams.
