Advert description
I started teaching Spanish (castellano) to people from different European and American countries who came to Perú to receive my lessons. Teaching Spanish helped me become aware of how “teaching a language” is not only teaching people how to talk in a second language but also understanding other culture. Because of that, I was well recommended by my ex-students in well recognized printed guide books for travelers such as Lonely Planet, and South American Handbook (Footprint Handbooks), among others.
There can sometimes be marked differences between language learned in a formal classroom setting, and the language needed to communicate successfully in the “real world.” I like combining academic language with lessons where I share other engaging aspects such as Peruvian Gastronomy as well as other diverse topics. That’s how I got involved in the teaching field, and after finishing my English studies I decided to start teaching English to students in Peru, as well.
