Engaged, young Historian specialising in Social and Political British and American history

Recent History graduate with 2:1 BA Hons degree from the University of Manchester. Written thesis on 1980s Britain, but studied everything from the beginnings of the Islamic world in late antiquity to the study of Ancient Greece through archaeological remains, to the Jim Crow south in the US, to the theoretical nature of the memorialisation of eastern Europe, to the modern political history of Britain up until the fall of Labour in 2010. My degree, almost all of which I loved, emphasized to me that the history which most deeply interests me, is the modern political and social aspect, which I believe most heavily influences our lives today. I would love to pass on this knowledge to the next batch of talented Historians.
