Embark on an Exciting French Learning Journey with a Native Tutor!

Hi!
My name is Elisa, I am currently studying a Master's in Educational Planning, Economics, and Development at UCL, but previously I completed my Bachelor in Arts and Sciences (also from University College London), with a major in Political Sciences.

So why are you a language tutor? you may ask. French-Argentine, I was lucky to speak two languages at home from an early age. After French and Spanish, my mother tongues, I learned English, Mandarin, and Italian, which I use in different contexts (it comes in handy when traveling!). Last year, I completed my TESOL Certificate (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) which gave me a breadth of teaching experiences, in-classroom and online, to adults and children in Thailand, Chile, and Colombia to name a few! I also have abundant tutoring experience in different fields, including French, English, and Maths.

Why try a class with me? Having learned languages myself, I am familiar with the challenges of learning a new language. From dry curriculums that don't teach you anything about actual real-life conversations, to the struggles of pronunciation, feeling shy, and forgetting vocabulary or grammar, I've been there too!

A trial French class with me would be perfect for you if:
- You have a specific topic, or skill that you want to learn about or improve. This could be any of the speaking, writing, and listening skills (for example, practicing for an interview or improving your email writing) or more specific topics such as having a conversation about technology.

- You want to improve your French in the long term but you don't know what to start with. In the trial lesson, we will assess your level together, and make a personalized learning plan based on your goals for learning French, taking into account your strengths and weaknesses.

No matter your level, beginner, intermediate or advanced, I would love to share with you my best language-learning trip, and help you reach your goals!
