I started studying Economics as a side career, on top of my Business Administration degree and specialization in Finance, and I loved it!
I loved it so much that I ended up getting my Master's Degree in Economics, with Honors.
After that, the most prestigious university in Guatemala, Universidad Francisco Marroquín, hired me as a full time Economics Teacher. That was back in 2004.
As an Economics Teacher, I led the redesign of the economics syllabus for all the faculties of the university. I also edited the one and only official economics textbook of the university, originally written by the Founder of the university, Manuel Ayau.
