For my undergraduate degree, I studied Social and Political Sciences at the University of York. I graduated from the programme with a 1st class with distinction (75%). Furthermore, I have enhanced my expertise in Political Science by undertaking a Master's in Political Science at the London School of Economics and Political Science this year. As an increasingly hard-working student with experience with the teaching techniques of the leading UK universities, I will be able to provide first-class teaching. I have excellent IT skills - Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Word, and Excel (tables, graphs, formulas); SPSS and R-studio statistical software. I would use these skills to provide interactive teaching by engaging my students with PowerPoint presentations and examples from my own practice. I have an ample experience in essay writing with all my academic essays scoring 70 and above. I will teach my students how to write critical, analytical, and engaging essays. I also have experience with teaching. During my undergrad, I gave private lessons in Maths and English to high school students. This allowed me to develop my understanding of how to approach students, how to present myself as a relatable person and encourage them to share their thoughts and concerns with me. As a result, I will be a good tutor because I am great not only at academic subjects but also at making people comfortable, observing their reactions, and responding according to their needs.
