I am a private tutor and prefer to take students online. I would ask students to bring a piece they are looking to gain confidence in speaking (or can provide a variety of speeches for them to choose from and practice before class). I cater my classes to the needs of every student so each one can look a little different - we will do different exercises to work on confidence and talk about what might be causing the nerves.
